Reddit is extremely hard to fake. Every other platform tolerates a brand account run by an agency, because the format expects a brand voice. Reddit does not. Communities there spot a marketing account within a post or two, and the response is not indifference, it is hostility, and it is public and permanent in a way a quiet Instagram never is.
It is also slow. A Reddit presence worth having takes something like a decade to build, because what accumulates is not followers, it is credibility inside a handful of niche communities with long memories. There is no version of that you can buy, and no version an outside manager can hold on your behalf.
Which is exactly why it does not need an external manager. It needs one person inside your business to download the app, name an account honestly, and then genuinely be on it: answering questions in the communities your customers are already in, taking a real interest, and being useful long before mentioning what you sell.
