Marketing Audits.
If you want to get serious about growing your business, you need to be clear on its current state. You do this by taking a hard, emotionless look in the mirror. We are not looking at what you want the business to be. We are looking at what it is.
See if you qualify →What is a
marketing audit?
A marketing audit is an evaluation of the current state of marketing within your business. It can be looked at through two lenses: externally, what your customers and competitors see, and internally, what you know about yourself.
In understanding those two things, you can put together a picture that is as close to reality as possible.
The goal is to help you with your go-to-market strategy, identify the worst parts of your business that need repair, and evaluate how well you are tracking your KPIs.
How does an
audit work?
If you qualify for a marketing audit, we will take an external look at your business. That involves:
- Physically looking at your in-person sites
- Testing your current points of entry: calling, messaging online, emailing, walk-ins and reservation systems
- Evaluating every marketing channel you have chosen to use
- Reading your reviews, your social media posts and your interviews, and taking the measure of public perception
All of this is done at no cost.
Once we have gone through this with you, the next step is an internal look at your business. That involves:
- A sit-down interview with the primary operator or managing director of the business
- A full site and software tour, to understand your operations
- A review of your internal tracking, measuring and the processes surrounding customer acquisition and retention (or lack thereof)
- A review of the retargeting strategy you use, to make sure everyone who interacts with your business has a positive experience
What it is
Your business seen the way a customer sees it. Everything we look at is already public, so we need nothing from you but a phone call. It answers one question: is there a problem here worth paying to fix?
- What someone finds when they search for you, and what they find instead
- Your site, your listings and your reviews, judged as a buyer and not an owner
- Where your competition is winning, and what they are doing to win
- A written summary you keep, whatever you decide next
How it works
- A qualification call. Twenty minutes on what you sell and what is not working. This is also where we tell you if you do not need us.
- We go and look. A few days on what a customer would find: search, site, listings, reviews, and whoever is beating you to the click.
- You get the summary. Written down, in plain English, ranked by what is costing you most.
- You decide. Run it yourself, hand it to your team, or talk to us about the internal audit.

What it is
The things a customer never sees: your systems, your reporting and your money. This one takes your time as well as ours, which is why it is paid, and it answers the harder question: what is the problem costing you, and what do we do about it?
- Your internal systems, CRM and reporting, end to end
- The KPIs that matter, and the ones quietly wasting your time
- What a customer is worth, and what you can afford to pay for one
- A 3, 6 and 12-month roadmap, costed
- Yours to keep and run yourself if you would rather
How it works
- We come inside. Access to the systems you already run, and an honest look at what they are and are not telling you.
- We work out the numbers. What a customer is worth, what one costs to win, and which of your measurements are worth keeping.
- A sit-down interview. Both audits on the table at once, with you in the room, so the plan is built on your context and not our guesses.
- The roadmap. A 3, 6 and 12-month plan, costed, and yours whatever you do next.
Locked until the external audit says you need it.
In summary.
The external audit shows you what your customer sees and the public issues you are facing.
The internal audit uses your own data to figure out the correct solutions to those problems.
